Dell unveils new Alienware computer at CES 2019. The m17 benefits from the Max-Q format to try to combine mobility and power.Dell continues to develop a new segment with its brand Alienware, that of the powerful notebook that also wants to be the lightest possible. After the m15 presented several months ago, the manufacturer launches at CES 2019 its new Alienware m17.
Despite the Max-Q format of Nvidia, it is still a 2.63 kg machine for a thickness of 4.1 cm. So we are far from the classic ultraportables. However, this is explained by the components integrated into the machine, resolutely oriented towards performance.

This machine is therefore one of the first to integrate the new generation of Nvidia RTX 2000 mobile chip. The presentation of these graphics processors, in their versions intended for desktop computers, made a big noise in the summer of 2018. Notably thanks to the highlighting of Nvidia's ray-tracing techniques.
