Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2: the champion of autonomy has a successor

Asus has officially unveiled its new mid-range smartphone, the Asus Zenfone Pro M2. He comes to succeed the Zenfone Pro M1 which impressed us particularly by its autonomy in 2018

In August 2018, we had the opportunity to test the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, and if he was a little behind the Redmi Note 5 in terms of the photo, he then positioned himself as our champion of the endurance with a good 3 days of use, for otherwise quite suitable performance. In short, this smartphone a little unexpected we had very pleasantly surprised and we looked forward to seeing what the Taiwanese would do with this new range.
Less than a year later, Asus is already giving a successor to its smartphone with a brand new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2. If its existence is not a very big surprise, its technical sheet is confirmed today:
FHD + screen (2280 x 1080 pixels) of 6.3 inches (Gorilla Glass 6)
SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, GPU Adreno 512
6 GB of RAM LPDDR4x
64GB eMCP storage + microSD card (up to 2TB)

13 MP front camera (f / 2.0)
5,000 mAh battery

Price and release date
If the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 goes upmarket, it also sees its price soar. While the first model was proposed from 200 euros, it is positioned on the top bracket with an introductory price of 300 euros. It is already available on the Asus eShop and will be available by the end of January at most online retailers (Amazon, Baker, Cdiscount, Darty, Fnac, LDLC, Materiel.net and RueDuCommerce).
