Samsung will soon be introducing its new Galaxy S10. They will be accompanied by accessories, including a dual-input wireless charging cradle that is reminiscent of the AirPower that Apple has never managed to release.
One of the constant little "jokes" about Apple is the release of its AirPower. This charging mat was announced as soon as the iPhone became compatible with wireless charging, but has never finally emerged and continues to hang in the face of the mark.
At the edge of the announcement of Galaxy S10, whose prices appeared on the run this morning, Samsung seems to want some fun. WinFuture offers us in preview a small visibility on the official accessories provided for smartphones.
A charging mat for the Galaxy S10
Two accessories for wireless charging will be presented according to Roland Quandt. The first is a carpet allowing two devices to be recharged at the same time: the "Charger Duo Pad".
Like the AirPower, it will simultaneously charge a Galaxy S10 (whether the S10e, S10 or S10 +) and a connected watch equipped with wireless charging, certainly the Galaxy Watch Active which should also be presented tonight.
But unlike the AirPower, the charging airs are well defined, and the base looks like two bases glued to each other. The rug is connected in USB type C, and its first zone allows wireless charging at 10W when the second offers 5W. According to Roland Quandt, this accessory will cost 99 euros.
Still, the parallel is certainly not innocent, Samsung has always been eager to tackle his rival at every opportunity.
An external battery with wireless charging
An external battery doped with wireless charging is also provided. It has a capacity of 10000 mAh, is charged in USB type C and offers a single USB type A to connect its devices.
Its specificity is to integrate on the top a wireless charging base, so you do not have to have a cable to charge his phone. Small precision however: it is a base 5W, making the recharge will be quite slow. This battery will be marketed below 40 euros.
