How to save the screen of your Android smartphone

Saving the screen of your phone (screencast) is always useful when you want to demonstrate a feature to someone or possibly as part of a story or a post on social networks. Here's how to make a video capture of your screen on your Android smartphone.

If it is very easy to take a screenshot on an Android smartphone, make a screencast is a little less obvious, but it is very simple. Saving the phone screen can be useful if you want to show someone a particular video feature. But, who knows, you might also need it to post a video on social networks.
In this tutorial, we show you how to record the screen of your Android smartphone.
Save the smartphone screen
The best application to screencaster your screen – at least the one we recommend the most – is called AZ Screen Recorder. The first step to save the screen will be to download it from the Play Store.

3 reasons to download this application
                        Record your screen very simply
Choose quality, framerate, audio bitrate and more
Start recording from your notifications panel
Once this is done, you will simply need to tap the AZ Screen Recorder icon. This will reveal, in a corner of the screen, a red dot with a camera icon in the center. Click on it.
A menu will then be offered to you and the function that interests us is that of the center (again, it is a white camera on a red background). Just tap it to save your smartphone screen. A small message will be displayed to remind you what the application is about to do. Tap Start.
A count is displayed – "3, 2, 1 …" – and your screen is being saved.

You can then navigate in your interface, everything is captured in a video. Here is an example of screencast below.

To end screencast, simply lower your notifications panel to access the AZ Recorder control bar. Tap Stop and the video recording ends.

The video is then available in your photo / video gallery. Note that you can change the recording settings (such as image quality) by clicking the notched wheel. Also note that while recording, the AZ Recorder application records the surrounding sound.
