In addition to a conference held in Paris on March 26, with the P30 series in mind, Huawei would hold another event, the day before, in China, to lift the veil on new mid-range smartphones.
With its status on the mobile phone market – the second largest manufacturer behind Samsung – Huawei continues its momentum and even intensifies its efforts. Strongly expected on March 26, in Paris, as part of the presentation of the P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite, the Chinese firm should be illustrated a day earlier at home in China.
According to My Smart Price, the Asian giant should hold a special conference at which will be introduced two new mobile devices: the Enjoy 9s and 9th. If this series of smartphones does not tell you anything, it's (almost) normal. However, the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) could challenge you: officialized in Europe on December 31, 2018, this model has another name in the Middle Kingdom … the Huawei Enjoy 9.
A SoC house dedicated to the mid-range
Except that this time, the Enjoy 9s seems to be positioned a bit above its predecessor, if we refer to the product sheet published by My Smart Price, although the characteristics must be met with caution as long as the brand has not officially confirmed them. The Indian site has also got its hands on a series of press releases.
Still, the Huawei Enjoy 9s would equip a 6.22-inch IPS LCD Full HD + screen, a definition of 1080 x 2340 at 19.5: 9 ratio. Its Kirin 710 processor definitely puts it in the mid-range category, this SoC being specially designed for this type of device. At the front, a notch in the shape of a drop of water would welcome a single sensor of 8 megapixels.
Triple rear photo sensor boosted by an AI
But it is on the side of the rear photographic configuration that one really has to turn. Since the company has clearly focused on the photo to stand out from the competition, and bet on three separate sensors: 24 + 16 (wide angle) + 2 megapixels. Not to mention an artificial intelligence dedicated to the processing of captured images.
On his back he would also invite a fingerprint reader. The start and volume buttons would be placed on the right side of the product. It should finally rely on 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage (a version to 124 GB would also be part of), a 3400 mAh battery, all under Android 9.0 Pie based on the EMUI 9.0 interface. The price remains however a mystery.
