It is this Sunday at 14h that Huawei must officially present its first folding screen smartphone, the Mate X. Nevertheless, a few hours before its presentation, the smartphone has again leaked with several images of the device.
After Samsung a few days ago, it is now Huawei's turn to present its foldable smartphone. For this, the Chinese manufacturer intends to enjoy the eve of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, even before the official opening of the show. Huawei will hold a conference this Sunday at 14h.
Nevertheless, just hours from the conference, the Huawei Mate X has already been filmed as spotted by the site SlashLeaks. The youtubeur Joshua Vergara has already taken over the smartphone and published his video by mistake in advance. Before it was removed from its chain, several screenshots of the device could be set aside.
A large 8-inch screen once unfolded
As on the poster captured Friday night, we can discover a smartphone with a large screen that folds to the outside, not inward as on the Samsung Galaxy Fold. One can also discover some technical features like the screen diagonal of 6.6 inches on one side, 6.2 inches on the other and 8 inches when unfolded. In addition, the foldable smartphone would be equipped with a Kirin 980 chip, a large battery of 4500 mAh, four cameras on the back and a double sensor on the front.
We should know more about the Huawei Mate X during its official presentation by Huawei. It is expected this Sunday from 14h.
