The highly anticipated Huawei P30 has the right to its first real leak, weeks before its presentation.
After a very successful Huawei P20 Pro in early 2018, and a Mate 20 Pro that ended the year as one of the FrAndroid community champions, we are waiting for the next flagship of the Chinese brand.
The presentation of the Huawei P30 is expected for the start of the year, to launch Samsung Galaxy S10, and unsurprisingly, the first leaks arrive to reveal some secrets of the phone ahead.
Detailed rendering of the design
We owe this first real leak to OnLeaks, which has produced in partnership with 91mobiles renderings in computer graphics of Huawei P30. It should be remembered that these renderings are made from the factory plans obtained by OnLeaks, and not from the imagination of a fan.
The reliability of OnLeaks is no longer to be demonstrated, and there is almost no doubt that these images sketch the features of the future Huawei P30, although an error is still possible as far before the official presentation of a product.
These important reminders made, let's comment now what we learn from the design of the Huawei P30. These images show first that Huawei seems determined to keep the same design codes as the P20 which recognizes the location of the logo of the brand, the camera or this screen edge to edge with a small notch. The port jack is there, next to the USB Type-C.
Compared to last year's Huawei P20, this Huawei P30 would win a third photo sensor on the back, perhaps because the P30 Pro will have him, right, 4 cameras. We also note the complete absence of physical buttons in the front, while the P20 still placed his fingerprint reader. Absent the back, we imagine that the player is located under the surface of the screen, as on the Mate 20 Pro.
According to the source of this leak, the smartphone measures 149.1 x 71.4 mm for 7.5 to 9.3 mm thick, depending on whether one counts the camera on the back or not.
Now remains to discover more about its technical characteristics. According to a rumor, the smartphone could benefit from a new Kirin 990, an improved version of the Kirin 980.
