While Huawei will announce in two weeks its new P30 and P30 Pro, the Chinese manufacturers would take the opportunity to present two new connected watches, the Huawei Watch GT Active and Huawei Watch GT Elegant.
Just like headphones, chargers or cases, connected watches seem to have become accessories for smartphones. More and more, manufacturers like Samsung and Huawei are taking advantage of the renewal of their ranges of smartphones to introduce new watches. So, if Samsung unveiled its latest Galaxy Watch Active at the same time as the Galaxy S10, Huawei could do the same for its next watches.
According to information from the German site WinFuture, Huawei should indeed take advantage of the presentation of its Huawei P30 and P30 Pro on March 26 to formalize its new connected watches.
A similar design, but a new battery expected
After the Huawei Watch GT launched late last year, two other watches would be in the pipes of the Chinese manufacturer. Called Huawei Watch GT Active and Huawei Watch GT Elegant, these watches would take a similar design to that of the previous one, with two push buttons on the side and a large bezel around the screen.
According to WinFuture information, these new watches would both benefit from a 1.39-inch OLED screen, identical to that of the Watch GT, but they could benefit from a lithium-polymer battery and not lithium-ion battery. Above all, the Huawei Watch GT Active and Elegant distinguish themselves by their colors. The Active version would be offered in black and white and proposed at 249 euros, against 229 euros for the Elegant model. It will probably wait until March 26, the date of the presentation of Huawei P30 and P30 Pro to know everything about the new watches of the Chinese manufacturer.
