Meizu is about to announce a new mystery smartphone this Thursday, February 14th. In view of the first elements, it would not be the Meizu Note 9 that leaked during the last week.
The Chinese manufacturer Meizu is about to launch a brand new smartphone. At least, that's what suggests two teasers published by the brand, announcing a presentation event that will take place this Thursday, February 14. These images let only very little information about the specificities of the phone. With the exception of the placement of the photo sensors and the fingerprint sensor, aligned vertically in the center of the back of the phone.
At a rate of one per day since yesterday, Monday, February 11, the teasers published let appear a watermark countdown, but also more information about the phone. Monday, we could distinguish only the shape of the phone, today it is the sensors present in the back, what to expect from the one that should appear tomorrow?
An announcement of Meizu Note 9? Probably not
These teasers appear shortly after the emergence of a new Meizu phone from the Chinese certification body, TENAA. Indeed, the body has publicly unveiled the design and a good part of the technical specifications of a certain Meizu Note 9.
But given the information we have, it seems that the teaser's phone does not match this Meizu Note 9. Indeed, according to the pictures appeared on the TENAA, the rear photo sensors of the Meizu Note 9 are located to the left of the phone, while our mystery phone puts them in its center.
The TENAA has also unveiled many of the components of this Meizu Note 9, whose date of presentation is still unknown. According to the certification body, this smartphone would have 64 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM, an eight-core processor at 2 GHz, a 6.2-inch TFT LCD screen with a definition of 2244 pixels by 1080, all powered by a battery of 3900 mAh.
The only certainty is at the photo sensor, since the CEO of the brand, Jack Wong, announced himself that the Meizu Note 9 would be equipped with IMX586 48-megapixel photo sensor, found in particular on the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Honor View 20.
