Xiaomi does like Samsung and deploys a dark theme on its MIUI 10 home interface in a beta.
Many users appreciate the extremely clean interfaces in the manner of the Android One label. Nevertheless, the constructor interfaces moving away from the experience imagined by Google also have some arguments to make.
By remodeling Android to its sauce, a manufacturer can indeed bring new features on its smartphones before they appear on the basic version of the mobile OS. This is how Samsung was able to bring a dark native theme through its very successful new One UI interface.

Xiaomi in the footsteps of Samsung
And now, it is Xiaomi who comes to bring a night mode on MIUI 10, the last version of its interface. As reported FoneArena, said dark theme is currently in beta test and it is clear that users will not have to wait MIUI 11 to enjoy. The opportunity also to discover some screenshots illustrating the new feature.
The dark theme is displayed in various windows of the interface, in the Contacts, Calculator, or Settings applications as well as in the shortcuts panel and in the multi-window.
According to FoneArena, the deployment of this new option starts today, Friday, February 15, aboard the global beta ROM of MIUI 10. As Samsung, Xiaomi is thus a little ahead of Google. Android is not supposed to host a dark native theme before its Q version whose first Developer Preview should not be too soon to be unveiled.
