After rendering images unveiled at the end of December, it is this time the technical characteristics of the future Motorola P40 that have been the subject of indiscretion. Motorola's screen-pierced smartphone should therefore be a mid-range device.

On December 27, the 91Mobiles website unveiled rendering images of what the future Motorola P40 should look like. After Huawei, Honor and Samsung, Motorola should be the next manufacturer to offer a smartphone with a pierced screen. If we had observed in these images the smartphone in all these seams, it was still unknown what the characteristics of the device.
A 48 megapixel rear camera
According to information posted on Twitter by leaker Andri Yatim, the Motorola P40 should be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 675 processor, HD + display, 6 GB of RAM, 64 or 128 GB of storage, a battery of 4,132 mAh and Android version 9.0 Pie. For photos, the smartphone would ship a 48 megapixel camera f / 1.75 aperture against a second sensor 5 megapixel back. In selfie, the smartphone would capture 12-megapixel shots with an open lens at f / 1.8.

The Motorola P40 should take the same optical Sony IMX586 48 megapixel back that the Honor View 20, the Huawei Nova 4 or the future smartphone Redmi Xiaomi. We should know more about the smartphone, especially regarding its pricing or availability, at the future Mobile World Congress to be held in late February in Barcelona.
