Originally planned for the end of 2018, the first flagship of HMD Global, called Nokia 9 Pureview, was recently rejected by the Finnish brand. The latter could then take advantage of the month of January 2019 to present its product.
If the end of the year 2018 was rich in announcements and international events dedicated to the mobile phone sector, the beginning of the year 2019 should not disappoint either: between the inevitable Consumer Electronics Show (CES) of Las Vegas in January, followed by the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February, not to mention the long-awaited announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S10, the community will be spoiled.
January 2019, the hour of truth for Nokia
Add to that the arrival of the very first flagship Nokia, under the flag of HMD Global, whose calendar of its mobile high-end has been somewhat messed up. Expected for the end of 2018, the Nokia 9 Pureview, with five photo sensors, has been delayed. To better disembark in the first hours of the new year, as suggested by the Russian site Nokia Anew, relayed by GSM Arena.
According to foreign sources – to be taken with tweezers, obviously – the Finnish company should take advantage of the outcome of January 2019 to lift the veil on its flagship equipped with a processor Snapdragon 845, one of the best of the current market. Surprises would invite themselves to the party at the announcement of the terminal, still according to the Russian media.
In addition to the five cameras on the back of the phone, the Nokia 9 Pureview is also equipped with 6 or 8 GB of RAM, a fingerprint reader placed under the screen (like the OnePlus 6T or Huawei Mate 20 Pro), a wireless charge, a curved screen of 5.9 inches, all under the latest version of the Android operating system, 9.0 Pie.
