A new video of the Oppo Reno reveals its fun pop-up system to hide the camera. It is triangular and changes the usual small squares that can be seen on the mechanisms of the genre.
Oppo is about to launch a new smartphone called Reno, thus initiating a new range of devices, or even a new brand. This smartphone should be a high-end device and offer a design never seen before.
The smartphone will be completely borderless. Understand that its frame is uniform and not marked with any notch, or even a hole like the Honor View 20 or Galaxy S10. To achieve this, Oppo has integrated a pop-up camera, but very different from those of the Vivo Nex S or the Find X valve system.
It is indeed a whole section of the top slice that rotates to reveal a small lens with its flash. An original mechanism previewed through a video published on Weibo and seen by Fone Arena:
Note that this does not prevent the use of hulls, as confirmed by the visual above.
The fair to the declensions
The Oppo Reno should be a range by itself since several variations are already planned. One with a Snapdragon 710 SoC and another with a Snapdragon 855 and a thermal chamber to help dispel the heat. This latest version should also have Oppo's x10 zoom.
There is also a 5G version of the Oppo Reno, but it could be a third phone as well as the more upscale model already equipped with the Snapdragon 855.
Oppo Reno will be officially presented on April 10th.
