Oppo unveils the design of the F11 Pro, its next retractable camera smartphone

After the Oppo Find X, the Chinese manufacturer will launch soon the F11 Pro. Like its predecessor, the smartphone should be equipped with a telescopic camera for selfie capture, as revealed by the brand in several teasers.

While more and more manufacturers are looking for alternatives to the notch-slider at Honor or Xiaomi, second screen at Vivo, hole at Honor or Samsung – Oppo can be considered a precursor.
As early as last year, the Chinese manufacturer, owned by the group BBK Electronis as OnePlus, Realme and Vivo, had launched its Find X. This smartphone was one of the first, with the Vivo Nex S, to offer a camera retractable to integrate a screen with very thin borders and without any notch. Nevertheless, the mechanical system of the Oppo Find X was quite wide, halfway between the slider and the pop-up Vivo Nex S.

It would seem that Oppo wants to go even further as revealed by the manufacturer in several video teasers posted on Thursday. A tweet of the brand thus allows to show the absence of notch, while a video apparently broadcast during a tournament of PUBG Mobile, spotted by GSMArena, shows more about the future Oppo F11 Pro.

This smartphone seems to integrate a camera for selfies directly in a small retractable module, like that of Vivo Nex S. It can also be noted the presence of two volume buttons on the left side and that of power on to the right. The chin seems rather wide at the bottom of the screen. On the back, we should find a double camera and a fingerprint reader, which suggests that the device should be positioned in the mid-range. Finally, two colors are visible at the end of the video: thunder black and aurora green. Oppo also states that its F11 Pro will include a 48 megapixel camera, probably the Sony IMX586 already present on the Honor View 20 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.
We still do not know when the Vivo F11 Pro will be officially presented. We should know more in the coming weeks on the smartphone of Oppo.
