Oppo is demonstrating its lossless x10 zoom solution in a short video. The result is very impressive and gives the mouth water for the MWC 2019.

At the MWC 2017, the Oppo 5X had sent a dream. It was a dual photo sensor that, thanks to an ingenious periscope system, allows you to take a photo in x5 optical zoom with your smartphone without the camera becomes too large to be integrated.
In 2019, the manufacturer goes even further by applying the same solution, but to obtain, this time, a lossless x10 zoom equivalent to 15.9-159 mm (except that here Oppo uses three photo sensors). While the MWC 2019 is waiting for us at the end of this week, the brand has released a video demonstration of its technology. Said demonstration is short, but impressive.
Another first. 👀Our 10x Lossless Zoom, in action. 🤯

In this video shared on Twitter, we can see the Sagrada Familia, the iconic monument of Barcelona. The user is at a considerable distance from the church still under construction and yet he succeeds in gradually zooming in the image until one can clearly see the pediment of the building, which is barely visible at the beginning. .
You may be aware that Barcelona is the host city of the Mobile World Congress. Through this small overview of its technology, Oppo obviously wants to draw attention to its conference to be held upstream of the MWC on 23 February in the Catalan city.
