In addition to its new Galaxy S10, Samsung also unveiled its Galaxy Buds wireless headphones: new competitors to Apple's AirPods.
On the occasion of the officialization of Galaxy S10, Samsung has also unveiled new accessories. Among them are wireless Galaxy Buds headphones.
These are very light: 5.6 grams per headset against 39.6 grams for their small storage box. Samsung is particularly highlighting the intelligence of Galaxy Buds. With two microphones – one on the inside, the other on the outside – the headphones can detect when you're chatting with someone to lower the sound of the music you're listening to so they do not bother you .
If you watch a video on your tablet but receive a call on your smartphone, you can respond to it from the slate and Galaxy Buds will automatically pick up the right audio signal. The pairing is also intelligent and is done as soon as you open the box of your headphones.
Regarding autonomy, Samsung announces endurance of 5 hours on call and 6 hours in music. Note that you can charge the headphones just by putting their case on the back of the Galaxy S10 thanks to the reverse charge of the Galaxy S10.
The assistant Bixby is obviously compatible … but he still does not speak French outside of his beta. Bixby is supposed to allow you to use voice commands to control active noise reduction, interact with your smartphone, get info on Galaxy Buds battery …
