According to ETNews, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could make an astonishing choice: abandon any form of physical buttons, in favor of gestures and touch buttons.
After a year in 2018 half-tone, Samsung is back in force. Its new Galaxy S10 and S10 + delight consumers, when the Galaxy Fold continues to pique their curiosity.
Past these devices, the next high-end wave will hold on the successor of the very good Galaxy Note 9, which is expected to be introduced around August / September. We already have news through ETNews, relayed by SamMobile.
A Samsung Galaxy Note 10 without a button
The report is troubling. Citing "industry sources," the Korean newspaper reports that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could be the first smartphone manufacturer to completely abandon any physical button. Its design would be based solely on gestures and tactile elements.
You've understood: neither start button nor volume key nor even the controversial shortcut to Bixby. According to the newspaper, Samsung will first test this innovative design on its A range, often used as a test site in the past.
A courageous change
Such a change, although we do not know the details, would be courageous. At present, the few examples we have on the market have not been extremely convincing. The HTC U12 + haptic feedback keys, in particular, were far from satisfactory.
That said, maybe these "industry sources" have heard of a prototype under study in research and development, or a general desire of Samsung, and made the link to the Galaxy Note 10 a bit too hastily.
Who really knows it? We will have to wait a little longer before having some more tangible leaks, or even an official announcement.
