Samsung: in all originality, the collapsible smartphone should be called Galaxy Fold

Samsung Galaxy Fold. As expected, this should be the name of the foldable smartphone that is being prepared by the market leader. The leaker Evan Blass corroborated this information.

On February 20, Samsung will unveil its new Galaxy S10, S10 + and S10e. In addition to these three smartphones, we also expect the formalization of connected accessories. But the highlight of the show could be a small appearance of the foldable smartphone on which the manufacturer works for several years.
As a reminder, Samsung had already made a very short demonstration of its screen Galaxy Infinity Flex Display end 2018. But the prototype presented was still largely masked by a huge protective shell. Wednesday, February 20, the device could be revealed a little more frankly to believe a recent teaser published by the South Korean giant.
On this occasion, it is not excluded that Samsung reveals the official name he wants to assign to his collapsible smartphone when it is ready. It's been a while since the press and analysts use the code name "Galaxy F" to designate this future product. However, if we rely on a recent tweet from the well-informed Evan Blass, the phone would be called "Samsung Galaxy Fold".

Clarity before originality
As a reminder, "fold" means "fold" in French. Samsung would have opted for a rather academic name that, if lacking originality, will at least have the merit of being perfectly clear.
It should also be noted that Evan Blass is only rarely mistaken about the information he delivers in preview. See you on Wednesday at 8 pm (metropolitan time) to discover what Samsung has concocted.
