The new high-end smartphone from Sony would not be the Xperia XZ4, but the Xperia 1. A smartphone clearly thought to put the video in the spotlight.

The Mobile World Congress opens its doors in a few days, and we are waiting for the announcement of many exciting novelties. One of them should come from Sony, which should present at the Barcelona show at least three smartphones, including a high-end model.
Until now known as Sony Xperia XZ4, this new flagship is actually marketed under the name Sony Xperia 1. The brand would therefore be something much simpler to accompany the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus.
A 4K HDR OLED screen
We owe this new name to Evan Blass, very famous for revealing in advance the visuals and some functions of the most awaited phones. In addition to the name, he shared a detailed visual of the smartphone, which matches the expected design of the Xperia XZ4.

We can note several features of the smartphone on these images, starting with its purple color.
The smartphone has 4 buttons, one of which is dedicated to the camera
The fingerprint reader is again located on the edge
The smartphone offers three cameras on the back
There is the presence of the NFC near the camera
Difficult to distinguish the contours of the screen, but it should have a 21: 9 format, like the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus. The lock screen displays the date of February 25th, which is the date of the Sony MWC 2019 conference.

In another tweet, Evan Blass seems to indicate that the Sony Xperia 1 will be equipped with a 4K HDR OLED panel, the accumulation of all the technologies in vogue. With a 21: 9 format, used in the cinema, it could make the smartphone, the ideal device for movie buffs on the move.
