Asus continues to expand its range of smartphones. And the release of the next edition of its flagship, the Zenfone 6z, is getting closer. He was even seen on different benchmarks confirming part of his technical sheet.
While they will be officially announced in a month, the Zenfone 6 and Zenfone 6z of Asus are already appearing – especially the 6z – on some benchmarks.
So it is the top-of-the-range version of Zenfone 6, the 6z, which is talked about in recent days since it was seen on AnTuTu and Geekbench. This allows us to get a first opinion on its technical capabilities.
Specificities in line with ambitions
Already last year, the Zenfone 5z had impressed us in relation to its technical sheet, before disappointing us in part during our test.
Slashleaks revealed the AnTuTu results, while on Geekbench we can see the results of a benchmark of a smartphone that seems to be the future flagship of the Taiwanese brand.
What we learn more important these cards are of course the probable presence of the processor Snapdragon 855, a GPU Adreno 640, 128 GB of internal memory and 6 GB of RAM, accompanied by a full HD screen of 2340x1080px . The smartphone would run Android 9.0 Pie with surely the overlay of Asus, ZenUI.
The scores of these benchmarks also show us performances that seem worthy of a high-end smartphone wanting to compete with the market leaders. Regarding its price, we remember that last year the flagship of Asus was available from 599 euros at its release: his successor should adopt the same plan.
All these questions will have their definitive answer on May 16 in Madrid during the official announcement of Zenfone 6 and 6z.
