Watch GT Active and Elegant: Huawei launches new watches with formidable autonomy

This Tuesday, on the occasion of the official presentation of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer also unveiled its two new connected watches, the Huawei Watch GT 46 mm and Watch GT Elegant.

They had been waiting for several weeks and were finally unveiled on Tuesday, at the same time as the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. Huawei took advantage of its Paris event this week to formalize its new connected watches, Watch GT Active and Watch GT Elegant.
As the name suggests, the new Watch GT Active has the same design as that launched late last year, along with the Huawei Mate 20 range. So we find the same 1.39-inch Amoled display showing 454 diameter pixels, with GPS, water resistance up to 50 meters and heart rate analysis. The 46 mm model only offers new colors compared to the first Watch GT Active. We find the same bezel around the screen with a 46 mm titanium case and still two days of autonomy announced. However, the watch now offers green or orange silicone bracelets.
A new ceramic Watch GT Elegant watch
The main novelty comes from the watch Huawei Watch GT 42 mm, called "Elegant". It offers a case 42 mm in diameter, with a 1.2-inch screen displaying 390 pixels in diameter and a ceramic bezel, not metal, without indication of numbers as it is the other versions. It is offered in black or white. On the other hand, because of its lightened size, it does not propose two weeks of announced autonomy, but only one.
As a reminder, Huawei's Watch GT watches are equipped with the Chinese manufacturer's LiteOS home system, which is firmly geared towards sports activity. Huawei has also added a new type of activity for your follow-up: the triathlon.
The Huawei Watch GT 46 mm will be available at the advertised price of 249 euros, while the 42 mm version is displayed at 229 euros. Both watches should be available in the coming weeks.
